April Meeting

Dr. Joseph Pechmann of UNO will speak on "Isolated ephemeral wetlands and the surrounding uplands:   endangered hotspots of amphibian bio diversity".


Last Meeting

Dr. Mark Mitchell of LSU will spoke on some health status of marine iguanas (Amblyrhynchus cristatus) caused by our invasion of their environment.   He shared many interesting experiences that were a part of his research

This bulletin is to serve as our monthly news letter.  A link will be emailed to members early each month as a meeting reminder.  The bulletin will also present reminders for other happenings scheduled for the near future. Paper copies will be sent to members without email.  If you have a suggestion for this bulletin please bring it to the next meeting or email it to the webmaster.

Annual Fees are due for all Society Members who joined before October 1 of 2003.   Please make out check or money order for $15 to LGCHS and mail to PO Box 113483,  Metairie,   LA  70011-3483.  You may also give funds to Patti Faurie or Bill Watts at the April meeting. If Dues are not paid by March 31 your membership benefits including mailing, email and other notification & Society privileges will be discontinued.
