Theron Magers, Chairman of the Louisiana Reptile & Amphibian Task Force, has informed the LGCHS that the new alligator

was changed from four (4) to one (1) for any body with a recreational fishing license and there are no allowed sales of these
turtles or their parts. There is no possession limit. Anyone holding a commercial fishing license or any commercial
