Welcome to the LGCHS Library!

The LGCHS library is a library of herpetological books,  journals,  magazines,  and other resources about reptiles and amphibians.  LGCHS members can check out any of the items that are part of the library.

The library is maintained by the LGCHS librarian,  Joe Mathis.  If you wish to check out a book simply request the book using the link that follows,  and Joe will bring it to the next monthly meeting.   The book will then be due at the following meeting,  giving you a usage period of approximately one month at a time.  A list of books is that are contained in the LGCHS library can be found at the bottom of this page.

The LGCHS library is yet another LGCHS membership benefit and its use is free to all LGCHS members.   We hope eventually to be able to offer to LGCHS members a fully-stocked,  comprehensive herpetological library.  New inventory for the LGCHS library comes primarily from donations.  If you have any books,   magazines,  journals,  or any kind of herpetological literature that you would like to donate please contact the LGCHS librarian.
