• General

    • Memberships may be sold only be the membership committee or persons designated by the membership chairman
    • All family members living in a single household may be considered as members except that they will be allowed only one vote per paid membership

  • New Members

    • The initial fee for joining the LGCHS shall be $20
    • New Members will receive a LGCHS membership card valid for the period of membership
    • New members will receive one official LGCHS shirt as part with their membership package
    • An individual may receive a shirt as a membership premium only once unless an exception is made by the LGCHS board of directors
    • Members joining after October 31 will be paid through the following year

  • Renewing Members

    • The annual renewal fee will be $15
    • Renewing Members will receive a LGCHS membership card valid for the period of membership
    • Annual dues will be due by the close of the February meeting

  • Delinquent Members

    • Members that have not renewed by March 31 will forfeit all membership benefits
    • Members that have not renewed by July 1 will be removed from the roster and will be assessed delinquent fee of $3 in addition to the renewal fee
    • The delinquent fee may be waived for good reason

  • Membership Benefits

    • Discounts at veterinarians,  pet shops,  and Reptiles Magazine
    • Members only LGCHS events
    • Monthly bulletin classified and announcements
    • Representing the LGCHS at events

  • Advisory Board Members

    • Advisory board members will not be assessed annual dues and will enjoy full membership benefits for their term of service
